Plain-language rules that govern your use of My Genetic reStart.
1. Who we are
My Genetic reStart ("we", "our") provides a digital wellness platform that helps people understand their DNA in plain language. We are not a medical device manufacturer and we do not provide medical care.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service with a legal guardian. The Service is not for minors without supervision.
4. Account & security
You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Subscriptions and fees
Paid plans renew on the cycle you choose. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Local taxes may apply.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, attempt to break into other accounts, upload malicious content, or use the Service to harm others.
7. Your content (including raw DNA files)
You keep ownership of files you upload. You grant us a limited license to process them so we can deliver the Service. You decide whether to keep your raw DNA file on our servers or have it deleted after processing.
8. Medical disclaimer
The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Reports are wellness information only. Always consult a qualified clinician before making health decisions. See the Medical Disclaimer for full details.
9. Third-party services
We use trusted providers (hosting, payments, analytics). They are bound by contract to protect your data.
10. Termination
You can close your account anytime in settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where you reside. Disputes shall first be addressed informally; if unresolved, before the competent courts of your country of residence, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you in-app. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
